Diamondbacks trade Bauer for shortstop Gregorius, 2 others

Phoenix (KGUN9)- The Arizona Diamondback have made their move in order to get a young shortstop. It was announced Tuesday night that they aquired shortstop Didi Gregorius, left-handed pitcher Tony Sipp and first basmen Lars Anderson from the Cleveland Indians.

The Dbacks sent former first round draft pick Trevor Bauer to Cleveland, along with right-handed pitcher Matt Albers and Bryan Shaw.

The speculation over the last few months that Justin Upton would be traded is now starting to diminish, it's expected that he will stay with the Dbacks organization.

Gregorius is expecte to battle for the starting spot in Spring Training.
