TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - A 22-year-old Amphitheater High School teacher's aide has been arrested and charged with four counts of sexual misconduct with a minor.

Sgt. Chris Widmer with Tucson Police tells KGUN9 that on January 22, an officer working off duty at Amphitheater High School was advised by staff members of an incident in which a teacher’s aide had sexual contact with several students.

Detectives responded and learned the incident involved an adult female teacher’s aide, 22-year-old Clarice Lee and six male high school students.  Their ages ranging from 16 to 18.

It was determined that on January 18, during lunch period, Lee and the six students went to a location on the Amphi campus.  She engaged in sexual contact with two 18-year-old students and sexual intercourse with a 16-year-old student.  The sexual activity took place in the presence of three other students, one of which filmed the incident on a cell phone video camera.

Lee has been employed by Amphitheater High School since August of 2012 as a teacher’s aide for special needs children.

Officials with the school district tell KGUN9 that Lee resigned Tuesday. They also said they did not have issues with her in the past.

Counselors will be available to students and teachers at the school.
