Tucson City Council announces a plastic bag ban by 2015.
Jon Justice replays a news story KGUN 9 announced about the ban on the plastic bags.
Jon Justice asks, aren't there other more important city issues to deal with. Callers call in to provide their view comparing our city council similarly like California City Councils. Callers propose questions, suggestions, use, and present points.

Callers bring up past similar issues the council has tried to accomplish with failure. One caller suggests we go back to basic native ways by carrying around baskets. Another call calls and says we aren't going to afford to buy anything to worry about plastic bags.

Jon reads environmentally safe components of plastic bags. Callers and Justice recall basic use of carrier items in history, their representation, and if we are really going back to that.

Stories from callers arise that include: Barrel man at the Denver Broncos game, protest of potato sacks versus barrels, and plastic bag macrame outfits
