Chris Plante is one of our new-for-2017 voices on 104-1 KQTH. He delivers the inside word on the day’s top news stories with razor-sharp insight AND a unique sense of humor. Chris is a recovering member of the Washington media, having spent 17 years at CNN covering Breaking News, the Pentagon and National Security issues.

His knowledge and experience – along with a gift for storytelling – combine to create one of the most fast-paced, entertaining programs on the radio. Chris received the Edward R. Murrow Award from the Radio and Television News Directors’ Association for his reporting from the Pentagon during the terrorist attacks of September 11th, 2001. He is proud to have been awarded The Reed Irvine Award from Accuracy In Media for his blunt coverage of media bias and corruption. He makes regular appearances on The Fox News Channel and The Fox Business Network.

Representing the third generation of his family that has been on the air in radio and television, Chris brings a unique world-view and largely conservative/libertarian values to his role as talk show host. Marching in lock-step with no politician, Chris says his political party is “Practi-crat”, “…because of my distinctly practical political leanings.”

For an enlightened start to your day listen to The Chris Plante Show, 8-10 AM Weekdays on 104.1 KQTH.
