About Jerry Simmons
A native of Mount Airy, North Carolina (Mayberry), Jerry migrated to Tucson with the US Air Force in 1966. After a period of time in South East Asia and Northern California, he returned to Tucson in 1970. In 1974 Jerry opened Simmons 4X4 Automotive Repair Center and has been in business at the same address ever since. Jerry married native Tucsonan Diana in 1968. The couple have two children. Their daughter Pam is a nurse practitioner, while son Wade runs the Driveshaft Department of Simmons Automotive. Jerry's hobbies include anything to do with automotive, particularly race cars. Jerry is a member and past president of the Automotive Service Association. The entire Simmons family is into horses; Jerry's wife and daughter compete regularly in rodeos around Arizona and other western states. Jerry is a member of the Pima County Sheriff's Posse Search and Rescue Team. Jerry and his Service Manager Mike Gabrielson co-host The Simmons Car Care ShopTalk Show, on 104.1 FM in Tucson every Saturday morning.
About Brion Fuller
Automotive Specialists is a family owned and operated full-service auto repair that opened its’ doors in January 1998. In the beginning the owner, Brion Fuller performed all the service advising, repaired every vehicle and even did the bookkeeping. Now, in addition to Brion, Automotive Specialists currently employs three ASE Master Certified Technicians, a full-time bookkeeper and you can find Brion’s mom and dad hanging out, giving advice and even providing some muscle when needed in the shop and office. Brion’s son, Mitchell, was employed at the shop as a service advisor. Today’s computer controlled vehicles need a specialist to find a solution for your vehicle’s problems and then repair it right the first time.

Known as the Fluid Guru, or more affectively “Slick”, Eric was raised in St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands. There he was the typical Island Boy; always diving, fishing, snorkeling, surfing and flirting with the tourist girls. Automobiles we far on his radar. His first introduction the industry was as a Service manager of an automobile Repair Shop in Pittsburgh for 6 years. Then, he moved to Tucson in 1998 o begin his career in the fuel and fluid industry working for BG Products. He services auto repair shops and Dealerships in Southern, AZ for 15 years and has continued to do so as Merle’s Automotive Supply’s Fluid Maintenance Specialist since January 2013. Eric has a beautiful native Tucsonan wife and three great kids, all of which he adores. He enjoys the wonderful Tucson weather and scenery while golfing, but his favorite hobby is co-hosting the Simmons Car Care Shop Talk Show.
